教材分析:
本课时主要学习Oo--Tt5个字母和这6个字母在单词中的发音。要求学生能听、说、读、写所学字母,并在学习字母音、形的基础上,初步掌握5个字母作为单词首字母时的发音。Listen, repeat and chant通过五组生动形象的图配词让学生有一个清楚的.感知, 12个例词中pig,pen,tiger,red,Sarah,orange在前面单元已三会掌握,其他6个单次首次出现。Listen and circle是字母与其所对应的例词的听力练习。Write and say是字母的书写学习。字母的书写一定要规范要求,为学生的英文书写打好坚实的基础。Start to read通过找字母的趣味形式巩固所学的字母,培养学生的观察能力。
教学目标:
1.能力目标
(1)能正确读出Oo—Tt6个字母,并能够在四线格内正确书写,说出它们在字母表中的正确位置。
(2)听到字母能说出它对应的发音。
(3)能够根据图片听单词,选出正确的词首字母。
(4)能区分Oo—Tt6个字母字母手写体和印刷体。
2.知识目标
(1)听、说、认读、正确书写字母Oo—Tt6个字母。并知道其在单词中的发音。
(2)听懂、会说以这几个字母开头的单词。
3.情感目标:进一步培养学生良好的书写习惯。
教学重点:
听、说、认读字母Oo-Tt6个字母并掌握它们的正确书写。
教学难点:
(1)正确说出所给例词的首字母。
(2)注意大写字母Q,的读音及书写, 小写字p,q的书写。
教学过程:
Step 1 Preparation
1.教师出示字母卡学生认读字母,复习所学过的字母Aa-Nn。出示字母卡时单独呈现大写或小写,让学生认读。
2.游戏:教师说出一个字母,学生迅速说出他的左邻右舍,对说的又快又对的学生及时鼓励。
Step 2 Presentation
1.教学字母Oo及相应单词
(1) 导入字母Oo,用字母词卡教读。 然后让学生分别认读大写字母O和小写字母o。让学生观察它在字母表中的位置,说出他的左邻右舍。
学生观察Write and say中字母Oo的笔顺并说一说,师在黑板上四线格内板书,强调占格,学生书空。学生观察字母卡中的字母与黑板上四线格中的字母有什么不同,引导学生区分印刷体与手写体,告诉学生字母书写要向右稍倾斜。让学生在练习本上仿照Write and say书写,教师指导。师用肢体语言做出字母的形状,生做。
(2)教师用多媒体或橘子图片说:This is an orange.教师领读orange,另一手拿orange的词卡,让学生跟读单词,师板书单词orange(字母o用红笔标出)并贴图片或画简笔画。
师以同样的方式呈现on,教师一手拿图片或用动作表示,教读单词,另一手拿on的词卡,学生跟读单词,师板书单词on(字母j用红笔标出)并贴图片或画简笔画。师领读黑板上的两个单词,让学生感知O在单词中的发音,引导学生推断O作为单词首字母的发音。
(3)读后让学生观察,第一个字母都是O,然后老师指着例词并领读,让学生充分感知语音。O,O,O,eu,eu,eu,on, orange
多次尝试让学生说出他们所学过的或他们所知道的以字母Jj开头的单词,学生边说教师边在黑板上板书。教师引导学生归纳字母Oo在单词中的发音,并注意纠正学生不正确的发音。之后同桌互相合作并纠音正音,教师边在黑板上板书。
2.同法呈现字母Oo-Tt及相应的单词,基本过程为:板书教读字母区分大小写-学生书空--图卡导入呈现单词-听说单词-板书单词-找共同的字母-读词感知字母的发音-说出学过的以此字母开头的单词。教师在教学字母的过程中注意强调大写字母Qq,的读音及书写, 小写字母p,q的书写。
3.Listen,repeat and chant.(第一遍让学生听录音,第二遍让学生听录音并跟读)
4.小组合作学习。教师让学生小组内大声朗读。
Step 3 Practice
1.配对子
将学生分为两大组,教师说出字母,A组同学举大写字母卡,B组举小写字母卡。举的又快又对的为胜者。
2.游戏Say letters:教师出示一张图片,如orange,生快速读出单词并大声说出相应的字母Oo 。此活动先由教师出示,全体学生说,再指个别学生说,然后学生在小组内进行Say letters:学生轮流出示图片,其他学生快说字母。
3.Listen and circle
让学生看课本第40页Listen and circle,听录音圈字母,教师在教室内走动帮助个别学生。检查答案。
4.仿例抄写Write and say:课堂上给学生一定的时间进行书写练习,教师在这一时间内要在学生中进行巡视,以便及时发现和纠正错误。适时进行情感教育:养成良好的英语书写习惯。
Step 4 Production
1.Find and say
学生观察图,先在小组内说一说图中有哪些字母?然后找几个同学来说,用句型I see…。
2.小组内讨论生活中还有那些类似这几个字母形状的物品,然后在全班交流。
Step 5 Progress
1.检测:做《基训》或《配练》相应的练习题。
2.Summary:What have you learned today?引导学生总结本课时所学知识。
3.Homework
(1)听录音跟读。
(2)仿照Write and say抄写6个字母Oo-Tt。
